Universal Children’s Day: HOH4C Strengthens Its Global Commitment to Protect and Empower Every Child

Today, November 20, the international community celebrates Universal Children’s Day — a day dedicated to safeguarding the dignity, rights, and wellbeing of every child, everywhere.For House of Hope 4 Children (HOH4C), this day is more than a symbol. It is a powerful reminder of our mission, our responsibility, and our promise to the children we serve across Haiti, the Caribbean, the United States, and beyond.

HOH4C Celebrates Across Multiple Countries

Today, November 20, 2025, HOH4C is marking this important day with activities, reflections, and renewed commitments in several regions:

• Miami, Florida, USA

• Jérémie, Grand’Anse, Haiti

• and with our teams and representatives present in Switzerland, Senegal, and other partner countries.

Wherever we are, our message remains the same:Children deserve protection, opportunity, and a world that believes in them.

A Stronger Voice at the Global Level

This year, HOH4C also reinforced its presence on the international stage.Our Founding Board Member Mr. Alexandre Jean Renel held a strategic meeting in Geneva with: S. Sarugaser Human Rights Officer Child and Youth Rights Unit, UN OHCHR

This high-level exchange focused on strengthening cooperation between HOH4C and the United Nations, reinforcing child protection mechanisms, and amplifying the voice of vulnerable communities across Haiti and the diaspora.

This meeting demonstrates HOH4C’s commitment to building durable partnerships that protect children and expand access to essential services.

Over a Decade of Service, Hope, and Impact

For over ten years, HOH4C has been on the frontlines of child protection, supporting vulnerable families and at-risk youth through programs that provide:

• Quality education

• Healthcare and prevention services

• Daily nutrition and emergency food support

• Psychosocial and emotional assistance

• Protection from abuse, violence, and exploitation

• Shelter, housing assistance, and safe spaces full of dignity
